Absolutely… there’s a lot of misinformation out there. I’ve been told I’m not autistic enough because I can use a mobile phone. And I’ve been pressured to subject myself to overwhelming situations because “I’ll get used to it.” Things are improving but there’s still a long way to go.

I’m autistic and find it helpful to read about others autistic difficulties. It’s given me a better understanding about my own issues and makes me feel less isolated. Also, I don’t like the idea of communicating only positive things because it feels like ostracism.

Never tried Skyrim VR… but want to so badly now. 😀

Hugs from folks I know and trust… at the right time are great. No hugs when I’m overstimulated. Everyone else can stay away.
