Fake British accent
Even the UK history curriculum admits we didn't kindly 'dissolve' the empire. We did a back-of-the-envelope ROI of fighting vs working with the emerging opposition forces.
If he wants to look into it, maybe he should search 'Windrush' to see just how welcoming post-Empire Britain was.

Truly a barn find for the ages.
Where will our next Waiting for Guffman or Best in Show, or even Spinal Tap come from if their source material disappears?
Parody can't survive in the rarified air of 'banally competent but forgettable'.

Healthcare decoupled from employment is one of the most pro-business policies there is.
How many people do we all know that would love to start a business, but are the carrier of benefits?
Employer-based limits choice, reduces labor mobility and likely acts as a downward presssure on wages, imho

Is there value for Dems to start referencing a future 'Truth and Reconcilliation' process, as a reminder to those in power that there is an end point, and to consider their current actions in that context?

I really hope this gains traction and reduces VAr stoppages. Challenges in the NFL are a significant part of the tactical game.
2 - 2 with 5 mins left - do you use your remaining challenge to get that corner, or keep it in case you need to contest a potential second yellow for your center back?

One of the advantages of the shadow cabinet is that it puts a consistent face and message to a policy in any area - trade, transport, defence.
You then get to associate the alternate option with an actual person not an abstract statement, so the option of them being in power seems less of a jump.

Maybe thats the way to get it done. Offer a fund where private investors buy up IRS auditing time, with a 50% share on tax collected.

There's an argument for it to be a requirement for high school civics/history.
It perfectly captures the reality of politics impacting everyday people trying to survive (including those whos jobs are to implement policies)

I've lived in the US for 20 years and never once have I got the sense Americans consider the UK a special ally.
'We saved your ass in WW2' - yes
'My grandfather is from the UK' - yes
'We speak American here' - yes
'The UK and US have a special connection' - never

Leighton Coleman is a nailed-on cup-winning manager's name.

Possibly to be found in charge of Al-Nassr in 2027.

What an insult to the UK. We've committed far bigger crimes than that, this is GREAT Britain we're talking about.
