Our most recent school trip was an ecology class of juniors and seniors from Omaha. The kids enjoyed a tour of the windmill, including watching the gears turn inside, before heading to the Museum of Danish America for a wind turbine workshop. We love sharing our passion for wind energy #edusky

Have you heard of the Danish Windmill? We're a museum based around an authentic wooden windmill built in Denmark in 1848. In 1976, the windmill was purchased and relocated by Danish-Americans to Elk Horn, Iowa, USA where it stands today. Learn more here:
