I’d love to pick your brain sometime about sound mixing for musicals. It’s gotten pretty terrible in many (most?) theaters in the last few years and I’d love to know why.
My biggest complaint is music so loud you can’t hear any of the words. Even at shows like Shucked where the puns are the point

I’m so glad that I no longer have the anxiety dreams I had when I was leading backpacking trips. Kids falling off of cliffs and such.
Comparatively, it’s mostly funny when I wake up to a dream that I forgot to review a coworker’s code.
