Yeah they’re so beautiful to see. I’ve not often seen them in the sun especially not that closely so it was great to appreciate the colours coming to life.

Ah that sounds good, I like seeing rewilding in action.

Oh no that’s a shame, I hope you’re able to go soon. It’s been good to get a couple of visits in recently, I’ve been captivated by the huge wader flocks at high tide. And good to see the Brent Geese as always and see and hear the Med Gulls beginning to return in numbers.

Thanks, yeah they’re certainly the holy grail of butterflies. It was surreal to see it in the flesh when the one whizzed past us so it would be great to be able to savour a sighting a bit more.
