As of today, Conservatives are ahead in polls and will likely form the next govt. I am voting for Karina Gould to be next LPC leader and the most effective Opposition Leader. Her youth and grassroots connections will serve well in parliament and give her national exposure for the future.

As an LPC member, I am voting for Karina Gould for party leader. I am impressed by her youthfulness, confidence and general demeanour. She is new, obviously intelligent/energetic, refreshing and independent of endorsements. As House Leader, she has more than held her own against Opposition MP’s.

I’ve had 13 Canadian PM’s during my time, some better than Justin Trudeau, some worse. But I can’t recall any of them having experienced more abuse. Criticism and disagreements are OK, but harmful threats, especially to his family members, cannot be accepted and cloaked as free speech.
