#WBA fan of the happy clapper variety, generally centrist politically, all opinions my own but I respect yours may be different and that’s cool 👍🏻
Doku was tremendous today. Unplayable. City comfortable winners against a lacklustre Liverpool, who looked about as intelligent in attack as Albion usually do.

Florian Wirtz looks like flop of the season at this rate, £100m yet so meek, doesn’t look like he he’ll make a difference at all.

Proper poachers finish from Heggebø yesterday. Great to see as he’s had his doubters so far, I can see why but I also see promise in the lad. Lovely cross from Price who should be playing on the right wing supplying that kind of service, not Grant who is not a winger and never has been #WBA

Hate to admit it given the hatchet job he did on Maja a while back, but Dan Ballard is some centre ‘arf, and may get himself in the England picture soon if he keeps playing like he has been.

Goals and points. Better. Mason survives, for now.

Nice cross from Price. We absolutely could play him on the right and get two up top, with a less cautious manager that is.

Sounds like Maja’s been shit, Grant’s been his usual self (shit) and Price has been his usual self (quiet). MJ as always the lone spark of any kind. I feel for Mason to an extent as these average attackers will cost him his job sooner or later.

I hope Mowbray’s pissing himself at this. He knew the issues this squad had, knew our attackers lack heart, knew there was a chronic lack of creativity in our side. Letting the grifters in our squad bin him off was shocking decision. I will die on this hill.

No Championship club is printing money you greedy twat. This can be Albion’s excuse when they come to play us and we charge £60 a ticket with no concessions.

Clearly MJ has been too adventurous lately and so it’s time to bring back Klarna.
Bollocks to that. I’ll be watching the Champions League.

The attack in Cambridgeshire sounds horrific. Thoughts and prayers for the victims and their families. I hope all recover, physically and mentally, in time.
There’s a growing sense of lawlessness in our country of late, a society that feels broken and not united. It’s sad, and worrying.

Patel and Nestor must learn quickly that Albion fans can’t stand drab football. It’s only ever been temporarily acceptable as a way to survive in the PL. Never in the Championship. Our team may not be great, but that’s no excuse for the cowardly dross they’ve served up this season by #WBA

Dull. I fear that no matter who the manager is, these players will always be limp in attack. Price and SIJ no way near at it today, Maja isolated, only MJ offering spark and threat as usual. Feels like the only way we create genuine opportunities is via set plays.

Tony Pulis column: 'I was seen as a dinosaur but I don't see many managers moaning about set-pieces now'
In his first BBC Sport column, Tony Pulis looks at the rise in set-piece goals this season and explains why he always thought they were important and how focusing on them is nothing new.

Totally understand the anger re the ticket price for the Cov game. Can never understand however, why as a response to this, Albion don’t just charge them £50 when them come to play at The Hawthorns. And then double the price of food and drink in the away section when they visit too. Make a point.

Losing narrowly away to the pre-season title favourites is not particularly worrying, but I totally get the frustration about the lack of attacking ambition. I want to back Mason and give him time, but it’s hard to truly get behind him when this is what he serves up.

Would take a point right now from today’s game, and no doubt Mason would too, so it’ll be the usual grim spectacle. I won’t watch as I don’t currently have the means. Good luck Baggies, given you’ll likely need it.

BTA had a lot of critics at WBA, many said £3m was great money for him. Now he’s the most productive forward in the Championship for a rival down the road. You could see the potential, and determination to improve, was abundant in the lad - some need to realise players improve, but not over night.

Didn’t see Albion tonight, sounds like the standard dull performance however.
Last January we appointed a manager who wanted us to be entertained. Players and fans chased him out before May. We’re getting what we deserve. Own it.
