I write books that are pretty good sometimes
He/Him
And the story I watched on screen were two different things. I kept hearing about how Walter White was some badass, but he mostly just cries, whines, and acts pathetic whenever anything doesn't go his way. Plus, he's a terrible liar. My wife would've sussed the truth from him on day 1, no doubt.

Nothing wrong with being a casual viewer, that's all I am too. My wife is more anime obsessed. She's both the devil and angel on my shoulders, and they're both recommending too much anime for a single human to watch in a lifetime

On that note, I started re-reading LOTR a few months ago and was shocked at how confident the story was in itself to take its time. It didn't demand your attention like modern storytelling. It was content to tell the story it wanted to tell the way it wanted to tell it. Sadly, it would be DOA today.

It's so cozy and warm, and so many of the characters are like chicken soup for the soul. I can't wait for season 2! I've been trying to find other shows with a vibe like this, do you have any recommendations?

that's the main thing you connect to in a story, and that's okay. Not every story has to be life changing, or have some deep wisdom to impart, or even be all that memorable, to be an enjoyable experience. I don't know, man. Thanks for coming to my TED talk. Like what media you like unapologetically.

films like Spiderman 3, The Rise of Skywalker, or Man of Steel? I honestly think all 3 are flawed but overall good movies, and i could talk about why, but ultimately I'm realizing I don't have to justify liking a piece of media or disliking it. The vibes of a story are super important, and sometimes

That they're imperfect or highly flawed. My favorite Star Wars movie from the prequels is The Phantom Menace. Is it a good movie? Who cares, I enjoy the hell out of it. Spiderman 3 is my favorite from the Raimi trilogy. On that same note, it's also okay to like things for no reason. Why do I enjoy
