Unfortunately HRT doesn't help either. I think I've put on about 15kgs since having surgery 15 years ago, but then I was at the lower end of acceptable weight so I'm now at the upper end.

My transness was apparently to other child from the get go at school. I was bullied, had my then long blonde hair butchered & face smashed into the playground tarmac. It never really got much better though I learned to mask.

I have a slightly curveball opinion on this; that trans is neuro-diversity, hence the often observed coincidence with autism. The way I behaved as child I suspect if it occurred today would have been picked as autism instead of having a primary school teacher call me retarded.
