Cute- you realise you phone camera has the same tech? If an employer won’t pay circa £150 to save the liability on bankruptcy- it deserves to go out of business.

You do realise you’ve literally just explained why it at least present a barrier that doesn’t exist today? If you as an employer haven’t validated the ID and hired someone you should be taken to the cleaners. The ID presumably will use face fit tech- like at an airport, connected to a gvt database.

NI is not a form of ID.
September 28, 2025 at 11:11 AM
In what way is a National Insurance number the same as ID? It isn’t. It contains no biometric information or even a photo. It’s literally a number you pop on a form when you join. For tax purposes.

Ask her why. Bless.

I’m kind of curious how the writer feels about Natural History Museums?

What was the correlation between arrests in last summer’s violence and domestic abuse allegations again? But yes- women’s safety is their point?

The irony is that Portugal is protected from her by virtue of her not speaking Portuguese.

I understand what the stats say, but a car has never mounted the pavement in front of me- cut in front of my path on a zebra crossing- been used to snatch a phone off me - or nearly smashed into me on the pavement head on.

Today thousands die in agony, and those clamouring for safeguards cannot effectively express what they would constitute. Many of us support what’s right.

Pensioners aren’t the reason- many of them also don’t need subsidising.

At this point Reform is getting more coverage than Labour.

The hellsite isn’t reality; the courts are. Report anyone being libellous or committing contempt of court.
May 27, 2025 at 8:13 PM
What really ticks me off is this is piss poor reporting from the BBC. Impartiality doesn’t mean unfiltered reporting.
May 25, 2025 at 7:49 AM
What utter nonsense. Who would make it a duty? And frankly, if you have so little expectation of people, it’s a wonder you cross a road not expecting to be flattened.
May 17, 2025 at 8:25 AM
And they’re about to learn that isn’t what voters do.
May 16, 2025 at 9:11 PM
Bluntly put; this isn’t about the policy (deliberately punitive) or what it echoes (Powell- and echoes are subjective, and plenty of us heard it), the words on their own are outrageous. We have not caused incalculable damage. And has lost Labour votes they desperately needed.
May 14, 2025 at 9:14 AM
Think next week’s numbers will be different- and not in a good way for Labour.
May 13, 2025 at 8:40 PM
A diet of people who in the main opposed Brexit and indeed… did know better?
May 13, 2025 at 8:39 PM
This is presumably the same assemblage of people who thought Brexit was a stellar idea, and now regret that choice. Maybe we’re seeing that they’re a barometer of poor judgement rather than anything else.
May 13, 2025 at 8:39 PM
It was a shock to wake up today and find out that I, and millions of others have done incalculable damage to this country.
