Brian Wampler dunt half know how to make great pedals. Had the Tumnus 4 years now & it's shaping up to be my all time favourite overdrive. Why pay £1000's for a Klon when this does same while sounding fantastic for a fraction of the price?

Still don't understand this game, almost 40 years later.

Finally got round to re-stringing my T-type (under duress from Rowan!) & I'd forgotten just how great it sounds especially through the Vox. Plays fantastic too.
Like a custom shop Tele, classic twang from bridge pickup & humbucker in neck gives a darker more mellow tone.

It seems a very long time since I sat down in my bedroom with my Hondo Strat copy & began working through this. A real revelation - introduced me to power chords, Hammer ons & Pull offs, string bending, vibrato & tapping... God knows how many times I must've gone through it!😅

While undoubtedly a great pedal, I don't get why folk pay £400 for the King of Tone after 5 years on a waiting list when the Wampler Pantheon does the same and more for a lot less money & no wait. Very versatile & great sounding Bluesbreaker type circuit. Possibly my favourite overdrive.

Exactly why I'm reluctant to buy cheap cable. Only had it c.2 months & not exactly hammered it using it at home, would've thought for 12 quid it'd have at least seen the year out. Certainly not fit for use in a live situation - sitting playing at the desk shows its not for for purpose.

Quite possibly my favourite book on the Fab Four. A real treasure trove.

Dunno where the time goes, 30 years today since this was released - god knows how many times must've played it since then.

He might look sweet & innocent, but this (not so) little bugger swiped a joint of beef I'd been defrosting on the kitchen work top. A tenners worth of meat scanned by the pooch.

Way back in 1991, this little lot were all released in a 2 month period from 8th August to 8th October, with Ozzy's "No More Tears " & Skid Row's "Slave to the Grind" sandwiched in there as well. An excellent run of albums, and a lifetime away from the albums released nowadays.

40 odd years ago, a stupid amount of hours were sunk into adventure games like The Hobbit & were loved by many.
Wonder how kids today would react if you gave em a text adventure game to play, where you actually have to read & type in your commands?🤔

I could spend hours, nay, DAYS, playing around with this little beauty.

I'll never forget coming home from school that dinnertime, turning the TV on & finding that Pipkins had been replaced with some shite called "Let's Pretend".

Leeds festival line up 2002 compared to 2025...
Also, a single day ticket now costs more than the whole weekend did back then!😅

Seems like I've been waiting forever for this one. Every time I read a book about the Trainspotting crew it's like I'm catching up with old friends...
