GitHub has already made a 180, and decided to not charge for *self-hosted* GitHub Actions runners anymore. At least for now, because they say they have only "postponed" the decision. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUPU...

I am using Cloudflare to expose my home server to the internet. But the biggest threat to my uptime is my wife. Yesterday she put up some Christmas lights and unplugged my server. Luckily I get an email whenever my blog hosted on the server is down.

I think the fear of jobs being taken by #AI is a bit overblown. But even in the scenario that AI becomes *that* good, I would just welcome that. I would love for AI to automate boring tasks that humans don't want to do anyways. I recorded a video where I talk more about this: youtu.be/ab8ka_frG0k

I recently switched to #Chezmoi to manage my #dotfiles on both #Linux and #Windows. But there doesn't seem to be a good way to give config directories different paths on Linux and Windows respectively. There's a feature request about it: github.com/twpayne/chez....

Cannot login to Claude at the moment. Seems like something is down again. Considering how often there are problems with Claude, I wonder if even 2 nines of uptime is correct. Feels like the uptime is even worse than that.
