Several Kentucky legislators proposed a bill on this and are likely to do so again in the coming session next year. Some of the most scientifically illiterate legislators are on the education committee. Sad times ahead.

According to my Kentucky Open Records Act request, September Ark ticket sales were slightly lower than the previous year. The Ark sold 53,425 tickets in September, ~ 1,000 less than last year. This is the lowest ever September except 2020. This doesn’t include lifetime pass members or children <10.
