A snooty lynx character "shakes hands" with a snake before wiping his hand in disgust, and we're supposed to think, "That guy is bigoted against snakes," and not "Uh, you should wash that, my man." Doesn't work

The plucky adorable bunny protagonist suddenly looks sad, and her snake friend lays a comforting cloaca on her shoulder

So the animators made the choice to have the snakes use the tip of their tail as a hand/arm. And the viewer is just supposed to forget that that's where the snake's butt hole is??

There are snakes in this one, and sometimes a snake needs to do something like write with a pen or press a button, that a human would do with their hands. But snakes don't have hands.
