Great example of why #retro games need a proper #CRT filter/effect when being played on a modern display. Still a matter of personal opinion… but the games artists intended it to be seen on a CRT display originally.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" video game is actually pretty awesome! I love the banter between the characters as you play, it really makes the game's slower moments more enjoyable. Plus you mix in some puzzles and good action… just overall fun! #Marvel

Finally got around to reading the #Akira manga, as well as watched the #Anime. I enjoyed the movie for its visuals, but the #manga was so much better! Difficult to fit 6 books into a 2 hour anime, but I felt the anime was harder to follow with so many of the details left out. Overall 10/10!

How have I gone this long without playing Dragon Quest V on #NintendoDS… This is actually my introduction to the #DragonQuest series, and I am already in love with it! Will definitely be checking out other games in the series! #JRPG #RetroGaming

Slapped a new shell and buttons on my #Nintendo #Switch Lite. Love this dark look! I’m always a sucker for “smoke” colored semi-transparent shells with black buttons.

Finished playing #Diablo on the original #Playstation. Amazing PC to Console port from the late 1990s, and it supports 2 player couch co-op! IMO the first Diablo is the best of all the Diablo games. It’s very difficult and not forgiving. Newer Diablo games feel too easy to me... #RetroGaming
