Sweary post-menopausal single Mum with a liver transplant, an appreciation of dark humour and chocolate, and a commitment to fairness. I live on Whadjuk Noongar boodja, and pay my respects to the traditional custodians and owners of the land and culture.

One of these 3 ton utes recently drove onto my 18yo son's leg at a petrol station, crushed his ankle, he'll never be able to do any high-impact activity on it for the rest of his life. Some suburban man with something to prove has altered the trajectory of my son's life. I hate them in our suburbs.

It was beautiful to watch. Surprising, but beautiful. I'm in Pearce, the swing to the Liberals in the state seats wasn't enough to win them, but will be a concern for Tracey Roberts in May. Beyond me why the Liberal Party can't seem to figure out how to communicate with Millenial and Gen Z voters.

I do now! She's not even 8 months old, and very cunning when it comes to cheese.

Thanks - makes for interesting, if dire, reading.

For those of us who don't live in the US, could you provide some context as to who this bloke is and why it's a bad thing?

Only if you eat enough of them.

Um, it's really weird that there's not more commenting on the fatphobic, anti-fat, throw-away line at the end of the screenshot. Maybe if the fashion industry catered for all body sizes, we could all be as fashionable as non-fat Japanese people. SMH ☹️

You know they'll track you down afterwards for the overdue payment of the cheese tax - they smell all, they know all...

Wtf is with this "historic" shit?! Everyone knows 1988 was only 15 years ago!

I have no idea what any of that means 🤯🤯❓️

Absolutely, irrefutably, scientifically-proven, evidence-based, clinically-tested, 9-out-10-drinkers-agree TRUE!!

My son and I (Perth, Western Australia) recently had a carton of double-yolkers. Did the first two, thought that was interesting, then they kept on coming. Got down to the last two, we gathered in the kitchen for a ceremonial cracking, and yep, double-yolkers. What are the odds on getting 12?

On a personal note, thanks from a single Mum. My son finished high school last year and is close to finishing his Cert IV in computer programming this year. I wouldn't have been able to afford the original course fees, so am grateful for fee-free TAFE, helps thousands of us and our kids.
