A couple of years ago, Greg Wilson called to ask if I could figure out how many note/rest combinations are in a measure of 4/4. We limited it to whole/half/quarter/eighth notes & rests. I think I finally got it (with a little help from Lyon Graulty & ChatGPT). 1,597. You're welcome.
