as a long-time fighting game player i am here to tell you that not only is keyboard good for fighting games, the broadly most 'optimal' controller is basically a keyboard already. (arcade stick but replace the stick with up / down / left / right). go ahead and play on keyboard if you want to!

got a win with big grass. had a big life lead going into the endgame, but was consistently losing to the dragon player in 2nd, who was one loss from out. had time to keep trying things until shifting from one side of the board to the other lead to a crushing victory.

got my 2nd ranked first place with 8 bug. this game is wildly complex! my head hurts, but i'm having fun. might start posting ranked 1sts here.

my first win was by just clicking on the fire pokemon and having everything fall in place on its own.
