I know how you feel. As I got older I could no longer cope with the anxiety when they were late coming home each night so now I have a big protected area in the garden and the three I have now have never been free roaming.
At least it’s not -9 degrees winter.

I’m trying to imagine 4 cats communally using the facilities at once - two on top and two below. Very noisy I would think.

That really doesn’t sound normal. A cat on its own confronted with a human being will run in my experience. I wonder if there is something wrong with him.

Thank you for posting. I had seen references to it but my Bluesky account choices had not delivered the actual video. I’m sorry I cannot bring myself to like it but it is stored away as more evidence the man is insane.

It’s all such a balancing act but I was hoping you’d be able to keep the two friendly girls for a few weeks as they seemed to be helping Tom and Crumpet.

It looks like the silly people just import the cat lists and then block everyone. Given that one of the nice things about Bluesky is that you are in control of who you follow and hence whose posts you see this seems at best a waste of time. Keep smiling.

These are our choice. The expensive big metal one I tried seemed to scare them and every other plastic one has developed horrid green slime but these stay clean, lift off the power base to refill and they all happily drink from them .
