12/12 - Gravity Falls
I watched most of this show back when it was still airing, but I fell off partway thru s2, so a good chunk of this was new to me. Even better than I was expecting, one of my new all time favs. My fav character was Grenda, seeing her made me really happy

12/12 - A Charlie Brown Christmas (Coca-Cola version)
I love the original 1965 version of this special and its antithetical Coke ads. Also the charm of the original scenes before the revised version. The purple tint and cyan line add character

12/10 - The Naked Gun (2025)
A lot better than I would've expected. Not quite at the same level as most of the ZAZ classics, but it still made me laugh a lot. Casting Liam Neeson in a role like this is genius

12/9 - Percy Jackson s1 rewatch
Hubby wanted to rewatch this before season 2 started. Was a lot better this time than it was the first time I watched it. I still haven't read the books tho so I don't have a reference point for how it is as specifically an adaptation lol

12/5 - Transformers: The Last Knight
Anthony Hopkins and Cogman carried this movie. Any time they weren't on screen this movie was a dreadful time. Do you think Anthony Hopkins and Cogman ever explored each others bodies?

11/28 - A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
The annual tradition of watching Snoopy lose a fight to a lawn chair. Yesterday was too busy for family to watch this so we had to delay it a day. Love these specials

11/27 - The Star Wars Holiday Special
A wonderful(?) movie about celebrating holidays under fascism and sweeping ICE raids. This was a hail mary throw of a Thanksgiving movie suggestion to friends and somehow they agreed to it. It was a wonderful time hearing my friends reactions to this crazy movie

When you see this, post an image from your gallery to describe your mental health (the entirety of Bocchi the Rock could be posted here tbh but it only wants one image)

11/26 - Wake Up Dead Man
Easily Rian Johnson's best. Seeing this in a theater was a treat, I was worried I wouldn't be able to see it when I was checking for tickets like a month ago and there were no theaters showing it near me. Go see it, this one is a banger

11/25 - Over the Garden Wall, again
One of our friends couldn't be there for our last time rewatching it, so we scheduled another rewatch just for her. Always happy to watch this again tho

11/23 - Airplane!
This rewatch was a long time coming, but our ZAZ marathon got put on hold for a while. Anyway, I used to love this, but after watching The Naked Gun trilogy and Top Secret!, tbh I think this one is my least fav? Still had some good jokes tho of course

11/17 - Stone Ocean
Never thought I'd say that I caught up to all of JoJo in one year. This one was pretty good. Not my fav, but it had some good parts. Women are cool. I kinda wanna start reading the manga now while I wait for Steel Ball Run

11/12 - Over the Garden Wall
Another annual rewatch that I always love doing. Personally my fav thing to have ever come from Cartoon Network

11/10 - Watchmen Chapters I & II
Happy Circulatory System Day. Had the funny idea to rewatch the recent animated adaptation of Watchmen today. Not perfect, the animation is kinda dodgy, but it's good enough for me to willingly go and watch it lol

11/8 - It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Story time, these Peanuts holiday specials are important to my family and we watch them every year, but our blu-ray player wasn't reading our old DVD copy when we tried watching this in Oct, so we had to scramble to get a new blu-ray copy to replace it

11/7 - Golden Wind
Really puts the "bizzare" in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, weirdest part yet. Funny that this entire show happened because Giorno hates drugs. I thought the stone flashback right at the very end was weird and kinda unnecessary tho

10* games to get to know me
(*I kinda cheated putting a triple pack as one of my games)

10/30 - The Miyakawa Family's Hunger
A very weird, cheap, and short spin-off of Lucky Star featuring 2 characters who appear in literally just 2 eps of the main series. Almost every episode felt the same with repeated jokes under the 5 min time limit. Hikage is cute at least

10/30 - Lucky Star
Really fun and cute show. I knew nothing about this show, so it was really funny to be thrown into a hella otaku show like this with no context for it other than the Out Of Touch Thursdays video. Kinda relatable as a weeb with no idea what I wanna do with my future

10/26 - Halloween is Grinch Night
What a wonderful night for eyebrows and teeth. This is such a weird one. I love that it has nothing to do with Halloween aside from the name
October 27, 2025 at 4:09 AM
10/26 - Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan
Pretty neat lil anthology OVA. Was kinda like a JoJo themed Goosebumps. Fun shit. I kinda wanna check out the manga too, so I can see the chapters that never got adapted here
October 27, 2025 at 3:02 AM
10/20 - Diamond is Unbreakable
Easily my new fav part of JoJo. The writing feels a lot better and the Stands are way more creative. Loved the garish colours in this part. Kira is a great villain even tho he's kinda a jackass
October 21, 2025 at 2:40 AM
10/15 - HLVRAI
I've watched this a few times before but I figured I'd include it in the media thread this time because why not. Intended on watching it with one of my friends right after she beat Half-Life but then we just Didn't for months lol
October 16, 2025 at 4:52 AM
10/9 - Peacemaker s2
Amazing season. Made me cry many times, felt called out and seen a lot. That ending makes me want another season asap tho
October 10, 2025 at 3:44 AM
10/9 - Anatomy (1963)
I stumbled across this series of animations pretending to be a restored lost horror film this morning, and it's really well made. I don't usually include web animations in my media thread, but I wanted to shout this one out. Can't wait for more
