I will own my mistake. When the first exit-poll came out, seeing how many votes he got, I got curious and looked him up. Only then I realized the extent of the catastrophe. An overwhelming sensation of shame and guilt took over me. I was ashamed to tell anyone who it is I just voted for.

In what is a miraculous turn of events, by a margin of just 0.02%, Elena Lasconi (the most pro-West/pro-Ukraine candidate) managed to secure the second place in the first round of the presidential election and will be facing the guy planted by Russia in round 2.

Say what you will about Romania, but when some of our "farmers" tried illegally blocking the Ukrainian border in "protest", it took our special forces about two days to "convince" them how much wiser it is to take the protest elsewhere. Stuck to those other places ever since.
