Long time no see! Some updates on my second year at the U - this semester, I proposed my thesis, became a cycling academic, and was recognized by the U for my NSF GRFP award. Not too bad! Really enjoyed a webinar put together by the APA yesterday that discussed incorporating LGBTQ+ advocacy into one’s academic career as a grad student and beyond. I encourage everyone to seek out resources like this workshop and consider ways to advocate in their academic space!
