It was the second highest turnout ever (after 2020).
Democratic turnout was at 2008 Obama levels.
But Trump's low-propensity voters turned out in unprecedented numbers too.

"She [Emily Feiner] was one of several people forcibly removed by state troopers after asking Lawler what it would take for him to stand up to the Trump administration."

Meet the 64-year-old social worker who was dragged out of a Republican town hall
Her offense? Asking Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) what it would take for him to stand up to Trump.

Also belies that Harris '24 out-performed Biden '20 with white voters. Trump would not have won without surprising large gains w/ non-white voters, especially Latinos. Biden didn't do anything to harm those voters. It's necessarily their info environment including the Univision ownership change.

Still depressingly high. Those numbers are not too much different from the 2024 polling on Biden's mental fitness.

It should be close to 0. Only sadists & people who are mentally unfit themselves should report he is mentally fit.

What would enforcing such compliance even look like?

Unless Courts and/or Congress can revisit & intervene to judge whether the 'unitary executive' is complying with his own orders, what stops the 'unitary executive' from lying about his own compliance with his own orders?

Actually you did state he did nothing through 2022 which was a lie, and you now you are lying about your own lies

And accusing the people you post lies to of lying.
January 24, 2026 at 1:05 AM
Oh, so you disagree with Mayor?
Even though your whining & replying to me, objecting to my rebuttals to him?
January 24, 2026 at 12:14 AM
First you say nothing happened before Jack Smith, then when confronted with just 1 of many things that happened that you paid zero attention to, you say that's proof of "slow walking."

You don't give a shit what the facts are, you just have a fixed narrative that's immune to evidence.
January 23, 2026 at 11:49 PM
I've provided links & evidence & you only push evidence-free unsourced accusations, slander, & pretend to be a mind-reader.

You accuse Garland of "sitting on his ass". Proven wrong you accuse him of not issuing subpoenas. Proven wrong again you accuse me of being a MAGA troll....
January 23, 2026 at 11:46 PM
In which year do you contend the court did not help Trump by either slow-walking or expediting cases according to his advantage?
January 23, 2026 at 11:40 PM
Learn to read the thread before you chime in.

All 6 are partisan hacks but there's no shift on that.
4 couldn't get behind the absurdity of EP for a non-incumbent's criminal election campaign / "recount" activities.

Stop making shit up. Garland convicted ~1,300 rioters & conspirators. SCOTUS was never shy to shoot some of the charges down.
January 23, 2026 at 11:32 PM
Did he not run in the Democratic primary for the Democratic nomination? And even retained his party registration?
January 23, 2026 at 11:24 PM
You just wrote that you'd rather all the co-conspirators be charged and not Trump (who of course would pardon them).

Can you keep the goalposts in 1 place for 5 minutes?
January 23, 2026 at 11:22 PM
You haven't paid attention.

The Roberts court has consistently, year-in, year-out, expedited cases when it helps Trump to expedite them, and slow-walked cases when it helps Trump to slow-walk them.

Also Kavanaugh is irrelevant. He & Thomas were alone on the deep end in the J6C Trump EP case.
January 23, 2026 at 11:19 PM
So then you must be thrilled... you got exactly what you wanted via the much more "robust" case in Geogia. Why not take the victory & stop whining?
January 23, 2026 at 11:12 PM
Did you read it? Your link is bad and the real link is paywalled.

Did you understand any of it or any of the context?

WaPo's First Amendment Blindness: When Exploiting a Media Figure's Phone Gets Reported as "Cautious" - emptywheel
Among the investigative steps WaPo treated as "cautious" in its 8,000 word story purporting to describe the January 6 investigation was the arrest of Owen Shroyer and the exploitation of his phone.

Virtually all of the 1,600 defendants took actions for Trump's selfish benefit in reaction to content posted to Trump's social media accounts.
January 23, 2026 at 10:40 PM
That was a narrative promoted by some pundits who weren't paying attention to low profile activity that wasn't generating big headlines.

You have a lot of nerve to lie about date after date.
And every time I post proof of your falsehoods, you slander me & falsely accuse me. You're just like Trump.
January 23, 2026 at 10:38 PM
Here's another example proving your claim is 100% false.
Sidney Powell subpoena September 2021.
www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
Prosecutors demanded records of Sidney Powell’s fundraising groups as part of criminal probe
A subpoena issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in D.C. sought communications and other documents related to fundraising and accounting by Defending the Republic.

I blame Trump holdovers for what they actually did per extensive WaPo reporting by Carol Leonnig.

Reversing case file decisions for political reasons w/o following guidelines is what Trump does. And then which Democrat do you blame when judges disapprove & dismiss cases (like they have to Trump)?
January 23, 2026 at 10:32 PM
That's also provably false.
We don't necessarily know of every subpoena but we know for a fact they issued subpoenas to Trump for classified docs long before.
January 23, 2026 at 10:25 PM
It matters when you have 1,600 related defendants & then you uncover inconsistencies during trial.

It was Trump's people who refused access to witnesses in early 2021. I agree Garland should have revisited those decisions sooner, but your statements are incorrect.
January 23, 2026 at 8:44 PM
Failing to make a case?

There was a federal indictment much more robust than the one in Georgia (which yielded virtually no accountability).

It's John Roberts & voters who pulled the plug on the federal cases.
