So original creator Lester Smith didn't get the licence after all, but these guys did. Interested to see what they do with it and if they get the basics right 😎
Last week Mongoose Publishing acquired all rights to the Dark Conspiracy RPG, the classic game pitting players against an ancient and alien horror.
Expect to see a new Dark Conspiracy in 2026.

I recently ran a session of Dark Conspiracy as part of the online Grogmeetish convention, for ease of use ported over to @thetweedmeister.bsky.social's Liminal RPG 2d6 system, and am glad to report it went down a storm. A spot of cryptid hunting down Sedona way, marvellous 😎
