I always love it when you post the cover of a comic I actually own, or have owned in the past. I don't think I ever realised it was by Starlin, though.

Part of magnificently told and illustrated sequence, especially coming out not long after Miller’s "Dark Knight Returns", and then with Moore's "The Killing Joke" in 1988. What a perfect time that was to be reading Batman comics!

I can just about remember buying this when it first came out! Seems an insanely long time ago now.
