Every character literally has a different shape. Maybe there’s not a fat character but they are not all just stereotypical male gaze stick women. The hips do tend to be wider than the waist cause that’s anatomy. Moira is pretty flat, Ana is elderly, Mei is the only real hourglass figure. Just mute.

Muscled women can have snatched waists. That does not diminish them as characters. I swear these people see a woman’s thighs being wider than her waist and go “🙄 another stick thin girl”. This new character is built as hell. That is not just another hourglass figure.

Genuinely how do some people look at this figure and go “just another young hourglass character”. As if all the characters in the game don’t have different body shapes. As if any of them are made to be some male gaze sticks. As if this body type alone isn’t in direct contrast to that stereotype.

Cathy Engelbert’s words are those of an abuser.
She said the players should be grateful for her and the league giving them the opportunity to play. She mocked the player for losing. She diminished her words. And then her statement to the media was completely a weak ass attempt to save face.
