I read once that grief is like a room with a button, where the ball starts off big and hits the grief button constantly, but over time the ball shrinks and hits it less, but the grief is still as strong, just hits less over time. Respect people's wishes as they grieve and be kind.

My heart breaks for those that want something but are denied. I just can't stop thinking about those people and I wish I could do more than offer condolences. Grief is hard and it's different for everyone and there isn't any action or words that will make things better.

The closest I can think of is how I wanted my dad to walk me down the aisle when I got married, be there for my kids when I had them to feed them sardines and oysters and have them visit the "farm," but he didn't beat cancer so I've eloped instead and my kids will have only one grandfather-

I admire the heck out of you for not abandoning a project and for keeping at it. Hunterxhunter is still ongoing and its been over 25 years! Sounds pretty normal for a long running series to me. 💚
