And this is a very particular type of Texan. A software guy from Dallas or George W won't get this reaction. But go anywhere with the biggest, dumbest Texan you can find, like with the hat, the boots, and a belt buckle the size of a dinner plate, people will hate themselves for how charmed they are.

We ask similar questions in command and staff, and to be blunt students seem like 50/50 on it. The challenge is painting them a picture of the situation where they realize they're the tough-talking asshole from The Dark Knight who wants to preemptively blow up the ferry with the prisoners.
