Vietnam veterans are only bad asses because they were put in between the oppression of the US imperial young-man-death machine and the incredible competency and revolutionary prowess of the Viet Cong. At the end of the day they were forced to fight for the wrong side.

Working at a home improvement store where you serve mostly retired elderly people (aside from contractors) that own their homes as a largely less than 50 y/o crew who about mostly don’t own their own homes is an agonizing irony of existence in our nursing home civilization that we’ve built.
