"My Humps" by Black Eyed Peas apparently hits that part of my brain that processes hatred in just the right way.

Alanis Morisette did do a pretty funny cover of it, though.

This reminds me a bit of how Kevin Conroy felt about playing Batman, that as a gay man in an era where it wasn't safe to come out, he understood the whole secret identity and dual personas thing.

By all accounts, the founder of MySpace did just this after he sold the site.

Well, Maxis's office was in that area at the time.

Man, I feel this right now.

You'd think so, but no. They did blame Tim Walz for "inciting violence" against ICE, though.

Hm. I was a straight dude when I started reading during Hob, and I'm still a straight dude now. Guess I just need to read more?

There are! And they're controlled by people actively refusing to check or balance him because their loyalty is to Trump rather than the American people.

The entire gamut of possible reactions to a sudden magical sex change!

I remember last time I played it, you ran it, and of the three characters that got hit by it:
One was horrified and wanted to change back as soon as possible
One decided to just roll with being a woman from now on
And one was non-binary to begin with and just sorta shrugged and went "whatever"

I very nearly stopped it there myself. I forced myself to push through it to the end, mostly to say that I'd finished it, but I kinda wish I had stopped there since it didn't particularly improve.

I am enough of an optimist to believe that things will turn around, but enough of a pessimist to constantly worry about the damage that will be done between now and then. It will take generations to come back from this.

Some greeble is fine; my personal opinion is that Thundercracker and Soundwave look too "flat" compared to Megatron and the Combaticons.

Astrotrain's definitely overdoing it though.

I agree, I think it was a fine ending. Most of the complaints I've seen, IMHO, seemed to mostly be that not every single character outside of the core cast got full and complete closure to their stories with a detailed "where are they now" arc.

I always remember an episode of Mighty Max that *did* put a new twist on them, with the vampires being based on flies rather than bats and having none of the traditional weaknesses.

I'm also impressed at how many men they were able to cast in a community theater musical.

Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy 6 are all up there, of course, but everyone knows those. A fantastic game that nobody knows about is Alundra on the PS1.

I saw a Tumblr post suggesting we instead revive the Norse tradition of Yule Boasting, where we get drunk and make outrageous, wildly unrealistic brags about what we'll do in the next year.
