Good luck to him. Lost his way through injury but still a good player in there. Great signing for Boro!

I missed that stick and shared ISA would avoid any changes. On that basis I have no issue

It is for retired people who use ISA based capital as a draw down income alongside pension income which is taxed in line with PAYE. Having said that the concept of an ISA does allow wealthy people to amass huge sums for retirement. Maybe an overall lifetime cap of £100k would be a fair option

It’s less than 3%…. I received a 5% pay rise. Many private and public sector workers have received higher % rises. Seems reasonable to me

Sadly that will only increase his support amongst his brain dead supporters who amount to many millions

Would someone explain the thinking behind cutting the WFP for our elderly & vulnerable please. Seems like a huge own goal with modest financial benefits which questions the wisdom of Starmer and his team. Whilst many of these policies are of benefit they will inevitably get drowned out by mistakes

With respect Graham your questions don’t make any sense in this context. Private works in some services scenarios but not in many others. Public Train & bus, water, social care, dentistry. The media like to point to public inefficiency as that suits their agenda ignoring the facts

Money incentives leads to wider success? I despair. Please reference where the private sector has achieved improvements in social care. I look forward to seeing this as after owning a private care business for many years I know that it is very rare and only when care comes before profit

But you just did reply! I suspect I know a lot more than you do. Owned and managed a home care service for several years. Before that volunteered at Citizens advice. What is your experience in social care?

Utter nonsense. Saving for retirement is completely different to funding required to provide a safe and caring social care service. The private sector can never provide a social care service because money is king. The evidence is overwhelming. I know through personal lived experience

Your opinion which only the deluded share. Why do some people focus on dividing between rich and poor? Labour have avoided taxing any person as would be political suicide. If society wanted to pay for social care it would happen.
