Move forward, stay curious, and make sure you’re chasing your goals not someone else’s expectations.

Have a great week!

My only advice: keep taking chances and keep learning.
Treat it like falling forward you’ll learn faster by building, breaking, fixing, and repeating than by waiting for perfect.

Consistency wins. Always.

Bring on 2026!

In 2023 I basically had no social presence. It’s taken me two years just to get used to posting online. Progress isn’t perfect but it’s real. I’m grateful.

If you’re sitting on a risk you keep postponing: give yourself a chance in 2026. Even if you fail, you learn. If you keep going, you get back up.

This year also came with loss. A long-term relationship ended. A business chapter collapsed. It hurt. Still does sometimes. But I’m proud I didn’t stop.

So I started posting. Started making videos. My first video took THREE days and it was tiny. I was nervous as hell. But I hit upload anyway.

That one decision changed a lot. Not “overnight success” — but confidence. Getting better on camera. Getting comfortable being seen.

One of the biggest lessons: business is sales + risk. You can build the best thing in the world… and still lose if you never put it in front of people.

I also had to fix me. I started running consistently. Got back in the gym. Lost weight. Felt like myself again. (December tried to undo it 😂 but we move.)

I took a new role (CTO) and I’m genuinely grateful for it. Learned a lot. Took more ownership. Got tested in ways I didn’t expect.

Production wins:
✅ No more "model forgot the tool"
✅ Debug by reading the script
✅ Context only loads when needed
✅ Agent suggests exact next step

Skills describe. Abilities deliver.

Abilities fix this:

text
inputs:
topic: {type: string, required: true}
handler: ./scripts/video.sh
guidance: "Next: upload + thumbnail"
Same inputs → same script → same result. Every time.

Why skills feel flat:

"Create a video when asked"
→ Model researches somehow
→ Writes something
→ Calls tools maybe
→ Returns whatever

No guarantees. Every run is different.

if you're into AI agents or building with opencode, might be worth checking out. one-line install and it's model-agnostic so you're not locked into
anything
