Very much looking forward to working with expert staff to ensure that elected Members, Assembly Committees and wider colleagues have access to robust, impartial and evidence-based research and information to support parliamentary debate, scrutiny and decision making.

I've had the very great pleasure of working with some fantastic people over my 21+ year stint in various roles at the Commission, working together in research, policy & engagement to build a better NI for all.

Never easy work, but always important.

I had a 3a c. 1995. Bought it to write a 10,000 word Masters dissertation (plus all the drafts / notes!) on it. Perfect device for taking to library etc. Got an Ericsson mc218 (Mx clone) afterwards, but always loved the 3a. Still have them somewhere.

I found that map very helpful at the time. Some of the pink routes (calmer streets) I wouldn't have known about otherwise. I still use them, but sadly the knowledge of these is being lost
