What is 'broadcasting'? Are live radio and video events streaming on the internet 'broadcasts'? Are Radio NZ, and Sean Plunket's platform both 'broadcasting' online? I reckon they are, and as commercial broadcasters they should be held to the same broadcasting standards as each other.

Rent control NOW!
In 2020 the average rent in Welli was $536 per week. In 2025 it's jumped to $665. That's a 24.0672% increase. House sale prices in Welli are DOWN 25.4% since 2021. Landlords paying less for houses, getting tax breaks on interest. The 'invisible hand' shafting renters.

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Ol' Chrissy Antionette really has his finger on the pulse of popular opinion don't he? "Let them eat Marmie Sarnies!"? Really bro? More proof that "bottom feeders" was no slip of the tongue. #nzpol

Does National pivot to Labour-lite for the next two years or do they keep working on the hard right policies that ensure a tediously inevitable slow slide into electoral oblivion come 2026? #nzpol

I'm alright Jack! David Seymour celebrates saving taxpayers $130 million bucks on school lunches so a single tobacco company can get $200 million bucks in tax breaks. Aw shucks, it's nothing! #NZPolitics

Andrew Bayly richly rewarded with a new ministerial portfolio. Asses in places, eh Luxo? #nzpol #NZPolitics

Many are questioning Mark Mitchell being appointed Minister for Ethnic Communities in Luxon's weirdly rushed and strangely timed (was there a bad poll or something?) rearranging of his deck chairs on the sinking ferry that is the Coalition of Chaos.

What do you folks reckon? #nzpol #NZPolitics

I'm loving Airgigs in 2024. One of the highlights of an otherwise pretty tough work year. #airgigs #music #musicianforhire

"She did say, however, the costs are expected to be much less than would have been the case with Project iRex."

It's setup to have a private company invest in 49% of the schedule 4 entity they've set up. Basically taking cost of the government's books and onto our wallets.

Not bad for my first 9 months having my music on Spotify. Guess I'll have to keep teaching guitar for a living though, eh? Ah, well. Lee Dorsey had 10 US R&B charting singles and he never stopped being a panelbeater. #howitis #nzmusic #SpotifyWrapped

Apparently it's how we'll become a prosperous country.

Or maybe just a bunch o' c*nts?

It's never the drag queens
and always the preachers
the 'hang with the kids' scenesters
the poverty leechers
and it might be instructive
but it never teaches
a lesson, productive:

beware of destiny

There is something deeply wrong with David Seymour. Sociopath? Psychopath? Narcissist? Seriously, what kind of person uses the death of a colleague to unsubtly attack the legacy of an ex-PM like this? Did anyone else do that? Nope. Sickening. #nzpol
