Yeah I agree. I’m also a massive fan of capital gains tax matching income tax which would end the issue. The way “net worth” is reported doesn’t help though.

What annoys me is 80 year olds hoarding 5 bedroom houses when their kids have moved out.

Exactly. It doesn’t work without more kids but that’s why it’s so stupid. Surely pure capitalism is ‘every man for themself’ so they’ve got loads of savings and can look after themselves. The issue is normally they don’t want to downsize their houses in which most of their investment is.

Agreed to a degree. More food to go around, larger houses per person etc. especially as we are moving to an automated society that needs fewer people working. But theoretically the number of doctors would also decrease relative to the population so healthcare would end up being scaled back in line.

That’s the most incorrect comment I’ve seen on any post today. The CO2 from charcoal is equal to the CO2 absorbed by the tree when it grew and is therefore a net zero contributor to atmospheric CO2.

I beg to differ. The sound quality is exceptional on my Atmos system. The problem is newer TVs have shit inbuilt speakers; undoubtedly to try to force you into buying one of their speaker systems.

This is the problem with the US ‘democratic’ system. They effectively elect a dictator for 4 years due to its flaws. It’ll keep happening until a 3rd party gains significant backing and pushes for reform.

Yeah socks 100% on that list.

Anything that is in direct contact with a pheromone emitting area such as one’s ’pits or crotch is a 1-dayer. Anything else is fine until it’s dirty or smelly.

Right Click ➡️ Wrap Text. Change the option and the issue disappears.

The latter is fair but the former did his work by himself.

Correction: PETA upset that company is charging more money for a more expensive product.

In the UK he’d be facing a prison sentence for this. And he’d tweet saying something like “it’s against free speech”. Our political laws are there to ensure a level playing field for any candidates and he doesn’t like it, which is why he targets us so much.

Stop sensationalising what’s happening. They are negotiating with Trump to secure an exception. It’s not a ‘beg’.
March 27, 2025 at 11:59 AM
Yeah alienating 50%+ of your potential buyers is not the move of a successful businessman. He’s an investor. And a thick one at that.

If you load from the outside in you keep a larger space free in the middle, so it’s easier to add in an oversized item later on. Going from the inside out means you are left with two smaller spaces to work with so you’ll have to rearrange to add in any unconventional items.

Hovis Granary isn’t even the best granary bread. Get yourself to a bakery and expand your taste buds.

That doesn’t affect copyright rules. It just puts the responsibility on the company rather than the AI. Companies already use humans to dissect others’ intellectual property all the time looking for things they can develop for their own advantage.
March 8, 2025 at 11:08 PM
What does this have to do with the above post?
March 8, 2025 at 10:43 PM
Intellectual property rights are to protect the investment made in the research. Why would any company spend millions developing a drug, for example, if others were allowed to just wait until it’s been shown to work and then copy it?
