Loved this read! Appreciated the thoughtfulness and balance. I’ve instinctually hated everything I’ve read/heard about this experience, but glad to read an analysis that didn’t go into things ready to drag it.

Seeing the first Kill Bill in theaters was like a lightning bolt. The opening scene gunshot and cut to black with Nancy Sinatra “My Baby’s Shot Me Down” ran this electrical current through my body that didn’t leave until the lights came back on a few hours later. It was like, MOVIES!
