We’ve been drawing “grand spaces” in my art class so I challenged myself to an oblique view inside my local church full of arches and angles. Plenty to improve, but I feel I’m making progress.

Frustratingly I’m away when this is on, but it should be a great workshop.
On Saturday we have a charcoal workshop led by artist Maria Floyd at 11am, followed by an artist Q&A and exhibition tour with Maria, Clare Rogers and Sarah Chapman at 2pm.

This is called Veiling the rain darkened velvet of the Moor.

Oil in plywood 24 x 24 inches it has more presence than a photo can convey!

Please do come to the exhibition in Plymouth 17th -27th October at Manor Street Galleries if you can. It promises to be a wonderful exhibition.
Next up in our featured artist series is Cornish artist @amandamugford.bsky.social whose Dartmoor paintings explore a long-standing and deep-seated emotional connection with the landscape of the moor which stems from her childhood.

Our exhibition opens on the 18th October.

Over on Instagram we're kicking off the first in a series of spotlights on artists exhibiting at our Autumn exhibition.

First up is Princetown Press who produce beautiful graphic works using traditional wood and metal letterpress printing techniques and recycled papers.

Hi @onlyindevon.co.uk . I'm trying to sign on to Bluesky on my iPad using the same email address, user name and password as on the laptop, but it isn't recognising them. Any suggestions?
