Tried it again with something more "reasonable" and it's interesting how much it tries to sharpen the text on the CD even though it doesn't have the information.

As a follow up, I did a 10x zoom using the pixel camera and open camera. Open camera refused to focus, making me think that's highly synthetic.

Just got a new phone and it's annoying how unwilling it is to not have "good detail" to the point of making stuff up.

I've never had the fruit but they grow around here. They're cute little cactus.
That said there's a local-ish soda place that makes Prickly Pear soda and it's great. Just a good tart flavor.

I put in carpet in my basement studio but that was less a choice and more "it would cost way way more and take way more effort for anything 100 year old concrete to look and feel good"
It turned out well and it looks good but your mileage may vary. (I would choose a hard floor and just rug)
