There was an old comic who had a joke. along the lines of

A pedophile likes kids and an ephebophile like preteens and if you know the difference between those 2 words, you are 100% a pedophile.

The crazy part is, vita vea is so freaking good… and then look at Warren Sapps stats. There is an argument that Sapp may be the greatest defensive lineman of all time

Or Trump famously doesn’t use email. I bet his DMs are very incriminating

You realize the stigma of a no crimes robot following you would be a societal death sentence for those people. At that point you might as well ship them to the island of misfit people. That we basically do with registered sex offenders or anyone with a felony

That manager is 2 years away from being fired anyways

It was for local elections which could have in a weird legal theory allowed for non citizen voting. Not state or federal

NFL seems to do pretty well with a cap, but I’m not trying to carry water for the owners or union. Just stating the facts that some markets and teams based on location/population will have higher floors on spending. How good or bad that is for the league? I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♂️

Dodgers also bring in 4x sponsorship money then the guardians, rays, reds combined, on top of the tv deal. They just have a bigger bundle of money to play with as a baseline. They have a massively greater margin of error that allows for risky signing.

Politics is too much of a team sport, I may like how the rays run the baseball ops and wish I had that, doesn’t mean I’d root for them. I’m not sure how we fix that

Everyone no matter income and social status having access to a "yes, man" is not something I think is going to turn out well for anyone.

I know the singer is problematic, but Hank Williams Jr.s Monday Night Football theme song, slapped

That makes sense, but at 15 bucks. Are gaming people making the choice to buy 3 games vs one 60 dollar game? I generally do, but I won’t claim to be the median gamer.
October 23, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Cool, but you are telling me a state can’t give us one person that not almost 80 or has questionable Nazi tattoos??
October 23, 2025 at 4:48 PM
100% but for a lot of gamers, price point is factor. Like the car analogy I’d love a Porsche, but my bank account says I only can afford a Nissan.
October 23, 2025 at 4:43 PM
It’s like cars. There is a market for the 500k + supercar. But you can’t complain you can’t sell enough, when the average person just wants that 30k Toyota. I’d be curious how wages, disposable income for people has tracked alongside game prices over the past 30 years
October 23, 2025 at 4:39 PM
I just don’t want triple A developers to complain when I opt for a 15 dollar rogue like that has 4 people working on it.

Maybe the gaming world doesn’t need AC67: the assassin-ing that took 5 years to make at 200 million. For 120 dollars
