Heads up: I've been feeling a bit burned out for a few weeks now. I should probably listen to how I've been feeling. I won't be streaming this week.

I figure a week of rest should be what I need to get right as rain.

It's a pretty decent fight. I reckon it will take randos about a week or two to get it down to the point that you can reasonably SOS into a quest and expect victory reliably.

I wound up using the NPC Support hunters. They're surprisingly effective! The ultimate in "Yes, and-" requisite for hunting.

I did it! I beat Savage Omega Planetes!! I never thought I’d be so happy to receive a FFXIV emote….

And then came the heartbreaker: the realization that I will have to do it several more times to make the gear…

Then came the spirit-breaker: This is my alt. I still have to do it on my main.
