Has anyone in MLS ever done less with more than Deila did this year?

There will be a lot of, "Putain de merde!" being yelled from my loft for...the foreseeable future. Which I guess isn't much of a change. But at least the motivation will be different.

Frankly, I can see where you're coming from.

Can you imagine how many dry-erase boards Thierry Henry would have destroyed if he were on this sideline?

After he murdered that early breakaway, I pulled up transfermarket's history of AUFC transfers.

Nothing really comes close. The only other player we spent $$$ on who was similarly unproductive was Erik López, but he cost 1/4 as much and didn't make the players around him worse.

Klich and Fortune got minutes over Slisz and Muyumba, which is reasonable. What's not is continuing to work around Miranchuk.

Eh...they switched to a 4-4-2, and they looked like a team with extremely limited time to develop playing in a 4-4-2. Part of that is Nashville, though. They are a competent team. There weren't a lot of glaring miscues from either side today.

Did you just "Not all Men," I mean, "Not All Americans..." this point?

This is the nut to crack over these last 3 election cycles: How do you convince young, passionate voters that their passion and youthful ignorance are being exploited against their interests, without jeopardizing turnout? It can't be done without coming across exactly as "liberals" have for years.

This would hurt if I weren't already dead inside.

Mosquera missing pressing triggers was a big part of last year's issues. If Tiare can't go, but Brooks can, we'll likely see Saba up top if we stick with a 4-2-3-1, or Saba/Silva if we play 2 up top, though that complicates the midfield (had to stick with a double pivot and both miggy&miranchuk).

Mosquera starting up top would be shocking. He has talent, but he has also displayed zero on-field chemistry with anyone else in parts of 3 seasons (no continuity offense, progressive passing, etc). You could watch him play and reasonably conclude he has never played organized FB before.

Every time I scroll past this pic I think it's John Cusack at first.

Or at least clarify whether it's working as intended. That'll tell me whether it might get playable sooner rather than later.
