A person who is a 🎮 gamer and 🖥️ technology nerd who also loves to develop content for games and communities.
Meanwhile I have to use brand new assets because those old assets I've had no longer reflect who I am and they were admittedly low quality AF. I'm just not sure when I will make content again and what to make it on.

If you didn't design the assets you ported over, why credit yourself the designer? It's like taking credit for someone else's work, just wrong. Also I never thought a simple response from me would spark an entire conversation about Hummer Team development.

Curious knowing this, as the only other game by them I know of that doesn't use that sound engine being their bootleg of the Game Boy Tiny Toon Adventures game, which downright steals all music, sound effects and sound engine from Konami's official NES Tiny Toon Adventures game.

DPCM samples typically play samples at the exact same speed and pitch regardless of region. It's likely a flaw with how the game plays the samples and maybe they were slowed down to compensate for running 12% slower on PAL NES or Dendy.

I definitely prefer the new longer ones, as you got more time to talk smack about the games you run head-first into.

That's understandable. I tried to promise things only to be broken by radio silence, so I pretty gave up putting out anymore target dates for when something will come out.

Congratulations! Next goal for you is 4,000. Perhaps a 4K special for when that amount is hit?

None of my monitors support VRR. And also the results are inconsistent and isn't always smooth.

Every single monitor I have can only display up to 75 Hz except my Acer which can display up to 100 Hz. I don't use the 100 Hz mode because it causes uneven frame rates and is only good for viewing PAL 50 Hz content.
November 29, 2025 at 4:28 PM
I've had to reduce my refresh rate to 60 Hz to properly view 60 FPS content. I'm hoping to get a 120 Hz or 240 Hz monitor soon.

I used to have the big fear of burn-in any time I used a device with an OLED display. But my fears have dissolved as I tend to use those devices at lower brightness levels anyway not only to save energy/battery life but also to prevent faster burn-in. I've not noticed any burn-in lately.

That's not good... I haven't received an email from YouTube about auto-dubbing yet, thankfully. Probably some A/B test they're still doing with channels larger than mine.

And they stole the StepMania name...

Looks like they took inspiration from Hot Dance 2000. The arrows are swapped!!

Never thought I'd see the day a VTuber breaks an NES game, let alone Super Mario World.
November 20, 2025 at 2:41 AM
That wouldn't be possible since Radium Star is a hack of Nintendo's Pinball with enhanced VT03 graphics. It would require a lot of work to get a working two player mode.

A short story regarding this: I was trying to download a newly released pack onto my Steam Deck using the Resourcify mod, only to find the pack never downloading. It was due to the section (§) symbol used for formatting names. Apparently certain Java platforms reject file names with that symbol.
November 13, 2025 at 1:49 AM
Also it looks like they put in the most fake looking screenshot I've ever seen. The actual game look nowhere near as good despite being VT03 (?) hardware.
November 12, 2025 at 11:14 AM
Ah, so that's the actual chip responsible for the terrible audio? I believe the same terrible audio can be heard as recently as My Arcade's (dreamGEAR) Pac-Man 40th Anniversary Micro Player console released half a decade ago, which is odd considering the equivalent Pocket Player had better sound.

And those AtGames consoles were officially licensed by SEGA despite having said flaws.
