Hi! I heard this was a great place, so here I am. I love to read. I have out of control ADHD. I have 4 grandchildren and a beautiful wife. Plus, 4 cats and a Beagle who puts up with all of it.
Have you read K-129 yet? I haven't finished it yet. Working my way through some others first.

Agents of Influence by Henry Hemming.

This is a fascinating read that should remind Americans that we are not really an isolated island. We need our Allies & they need us.
Churchill was determined to get us into WWII by any means.
This book tells us what those means were.

Creasy sleeping. He's such a great little kitty. He and Bentley like to lay against my legs.

If I die unexpectedly from an accident, it will be his fault. A.J. follows me everywhere and is so quiet, I forget he's there. Three times today, I turned around and nearly fell over him. (His tail is blurry because the only time it isn't wagging is when he's asleep)

Tesla is down (as of this post) $137 for the year. That's 35% of it's value. The stock doesn't pay a dividend. That means you only profit if you bought low & sell high. I'm not a stock broker, but why would I give a company my money & not get anything back. I'll stick with my Ford Stock. Thank you.

Your cat looks like my Ebony.

Is it wrong that this isn't my cat, but I don't want to give him back? He's such a sweetheart. I know at some point, his mom will get better and be able to take care of him, but my heart will break 💔. I feel that way about his big brother, too.

This is A.J. He's been snoring and making weird noises all night. Anyone else have a Beagle that sounds like this? Also, isn't it creepy on how they can sleep with their eyes open?

I can't believe that no one has responded to you. WWII, the Cold War, and the New Cold War, thanks to Putin. Books, you say? Plenty. Some of these overlap - Sorry about that. I have more, but these are a great start.

I thought you might like to hear about the ongoing Ebony adventures. She broke my bedroom blinds. But, she did it behind the TV, so I wouldn't notice. This way she can hide and look out the window.

Interesting fact: Archibald Cox, the first special prosecutor for the Watergate investigation, is the great-grandson of William M. Evarts who was Andrew Johnson's defense council during his impeachment trial.

Riding the rails... Stopped in Springfield, IL. I must have been a hobo in a former life, because I love riding trains.
