@coolbutuseless You shouldn't have any issues since R is built on top of C. I just tried it myself to be sure. Just assign `x <- -0.0` and `y <- 0.0` and try `sign(1/x)` and `sign(1/y)`. You'll get -1 and 1 as a result.
