I put my new laptop on Arch recently, after Microsoft downgraded it to Win11 without my consent, and I'm not gonna lie, I have never struggled this much with a PC, but I am having SO MUCH FUCKING FUN with it, because I know it's MY PC now, and the problems are all MY OWN fault.

Breath of fresh air.

REVERSE COLLAPSE MENTIONED

Easily my GOTY of last year, even ignoring my franchise/developer bias. It's just so thoroughly satisfying to play, even in the bonecrushingly difficult parts.

I S-ranked the entire original, probably one of only a handful of people to ever do it, and I was only able to do it after decompiling the game to check the scoring algorithm.

Even then 2092R-2 has bested me.
Which sucks because I want to go for 100%. There's a lot of Bakehouse references in there.

Have you tried the original Codename Bakery Girl, the OG version? It's unfair to the point of bad game design lol
While Reverse Collapse does feature a recreation of that too, 2092R made a few major mechanical tweaks that make it a lot easier. In CBG EVERYTHING is consumable, even ammo.

wait- I didn't know Armored Warfare was from Obisidian?!
I'll be damned, that probably explains how it's stayed alive for all these years.

I genuinely think this is an extremely understated point when talking about the manufactured nostalgia around late 1900s americana. Only the lives of the (at least somewhat) wealthy were able to be properly captured for the times, even as the means to do so began to become more widespread.

That's a problem pretty much all social VR platforms have, you do need to find a way into some deeper communities, preferably before you even go in, so you can find out what goes on behind closed doors, find great worlds easily, and meet cool people to hang out with.
Onboarding in Social VR sucks.
