Lorenzo D'Agostino, a journalist and another flotilla participant, said after returning to Istanbul that Thunberg was "wrapped in the Israeli flag and paraded like a trophy" - a scene described with disbelief and anger by those who witnessed it.

Their waists and hands were tied together, forcing them to bend down and lick water to drink. The unscreened bathrooms contained only a single sheet to cover their lower bodies. Sunlight barely penetrated through a fist-sized hole, and they were only allowed access to the small yard for two hours. Detained by US immigration authorities for eight days, the workers and their families expressed shock, describing human rights violations and absurdities they could not have imagined as ordinary Koreans living in 2025.

I guess I just want some of the RTO c-suite suits to lean into how downtown tax base benefits cities. It does not seem like a messaging blunder to say "our company has benefited from the incredible conditions here and wants help ensure the city remains vibrant and healthy for many years to come."

There is zero evidence of self-defense here. Looks like a massacre of civilians at sea.

Even if they had drugs aboard, that's not a capital offense.
