Power has a habit of convincing people that rules are optional. Reality disagrees. The chickens always come home to roost, usually at the worst possible moment. Trump might be gone by then but all the apologists and enablers will be snot crying when they realise all the crimes they've committed.

This is objectively good news. Erasmus delivered measurable gains in skills, employability, language proficiency and soft power for the UK. Walking away imposed real opportunity costs on a generation of young people, with no credible domestic substitute achieving the same scale or impact.

It's like there is something terribly wrong with the economy, we all know what it is, but we must never mention it, or we might upset the very same people that promoted this incredible self goal that was Brexit.

But where is the proof? How does one know these aren't just extrajudicial killings, murders, what if other countries started doing this, China just randomly blasting boats in international water claiming some potential future crime was about to be committed. Like how is this not just outright murder

It's a meme stock at this point and all that occurs to them is to try and bribe "I Am Become Meme" to stop destroying the company for a few years. "It's not a car company!" yet 89.7% of their revenue is Automotive and related services, and that's all come crashing down, constantly worsening results

Either way fine, there's certainly reasons to be supicious, no tariffs on Russia for example. On another note I'm really enjoying Bluesky and the way it seems to foment normal interactions with people.

It's still quite relevant information in the context. Russia never had a guarantee against NATO expansion although it was never really on the cards for Ukraine to join NATO before the war. One could also easily argue that it's Russian behaviour that has scared so many countries into the NATO fold.

Not at all. Ukraine had the world's third largest nuclear arsenal that they agreed to relinquish in exchange for security assurances from the US, Russia and the UK through The Budapest Memorandum from 1994 that Russia flagrantly violated, by not respecting their sovereignty.
