@geoholms.bsky.social We get around this by having certain frames really easy to change the artwork in and we change them when the feeling strikes

@bootsgoesbah.bsky.social how many went missing, Mr fox?

@bootsgoesbah.bsky.social not sure that is an air conditioner as I don't see a compressor or any coils. It is maybe a swamp cooler or something? In that case you're just getting some bug juice in your air, extra protein?

@Chaft I think the standard feature of the foldables. Being able to pull out the huge screen and do two apps or big terminals or spreadsheets without having to carry a full size tablet.

@Chaft I've got a Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It does what I want it to do. I'm not sure the upcharge over standard devices is worth it but if you can get it on sale and you keep your devices for a while, I haven't had any major problems and enjoy the flexibility it offers.

@talon Couple of different ways.
1) If your cluster doesn't already, you need to have a way to implement service ips. I've used calico for this in the past (but it has been a long time). Then you can have each service you create get a unique ip and use that.
2) create an app proxy type service […]

@Chaft did you make or commission that by chance? It is some great art!

[AI, Software Development Work Gripes]

@shadowcheets Open source repos like Curl have had the exactly same problem: https://www.theregister.com/2025/05/07/curl_ai_bug_reports/

AI slop and people misusing autocorrect on steroids, it is absolutely crazy how much people trust but don't verify […]

@Chaft the configuration urls look strange to me, they for sure shouldn't read localhost. I assume you're using a reverse proxy for SSL termination and such? Make sure you have your reverse proxy settings right: https://docs.goauthentik.io/docs/install-config/reverse-proxy
All of the urls shown […]

@Chaft I know how it goes, seeing cool tech and having trouble implementing them. I'm glad to be able to help!

@Chaft So the oauth stuff for immich isn't done in the env (or at least I didn't do it that way). I went to system settings -> Authentication Settings -> OAuth and mine looks like the attached.

Did you create both a Application and a Provider in Authentik? […]

@Chaft unfortunately native 2fa for Immich isn't available. They assume that people will set up external auth via oauth or something similar so they don't think it a feature they want to implement. I personally use Authentik for my immich auth and it does let you do 2fa: https://goauthentik.io/ […]

@Chaft Yup! For my reverse proxy I don't see any abnormal headers needed to make it operate properly
April 23, 2025 at 9:22 PM
@Chaft You could have multiple directories but it would get pretty messy pretty quick. Immich (like most applications) wasn't built to handle multiple storage folders but that doesn't mean you couldn't bind a bunch of directories together via fstab, it would just be painful to manage. I'd […]

@Chaft Did you use the docker compose recommended on their site? If so that uses a postgres installation, defaults to ./postgres in relation to the docker-compose.yml but you can look at your .env for "DB_DATA_LOCATION" to verify. To delete it run "docker compose down", you can straight up […]

@talon I always assume they're lying or have no idea what is on machines when they are asking to delete or repurposing a machine. I keep a full image around for 3-6 months minimum. Has saved me a handful of times, highly recommend!
