Democrats are the biggest obstacle, however often fecklessly so, to effectively fighting against fascism. They have a vague sense of right and won't but cannot disengage from their disproven beliefs about the right and left.

There are no mainstream antifascists. Antifascism remains a maligned fringe position, hence the fall of the center to fascist politics. Antifascism begins and ends with defending communities, but Democrats are reaping their surrender to xenophobia, carceralism, and Islamophobia.

The Democrats do nothing to protect the targets the right wants dead. Trust people when they say your candidate isn't safer for them, their lives depend on it.

Just heard disappointing news that @warren.senate.gov will co-sponsor the Kids Online Safety Act again despite overwhelming opposition from LGBTQ, human rights, abortion rights, and racial justice groups.

This is a horrific betrayal of her constituents, particularly trans youth and their families.

Voters can't lose elections, only candidates. Perhaps such a breathtakingly minor policy difference with the main fascist candidate was something the Democratic candidate should have widened.
