"Time Goes On"
Woke up in a bit of a funk here this morning after staying up until 4AM last night, Azores-time, watching the Jays game on an iPhone and it not going the way I had hoped.
Went for a drive ...and found some beauty. This place injects you with appreciation. It knows.

When I was photographing Elliott, the Johnny Cash song "Folsom Prison Blues" came to mind.
"...but I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die...."
I consider every portrait subject a gift. My job is to honour them and their sacrifice of time, effort, and life experience.
